The Warner Gallery at Millbrook School in Millbrook, NY is seeking submissions for Trick Mirror, a show exploring trompe l’oeil, representation in painting, illusionistic space, and artworks constructed through collage/assemblage or influenced by contemporary media/technologies. While works can have AI influence, the exhibition is not focused on digital works, with a possible exception for an outstanding video. The goal is to assemble technically impressive artists who convincingly create pieces that immerse viewers into alternate worlds. Selected works should be ready to hang, and artists will receive a $150 honorarium for participation. The gallery does not sell artwork as it is used within the high school's art curriculum. The exhibition is open to the public.
